Join us in the Ballroom from 5:30 until 7:30 pm as Mutual Distributing hosts a complimentary wine tasting. As part of our efforts to improve and expand the Club’s wine list, we invite you to taste and rate those wines which we are considering adding. This event will give you an opportunity to try different varietals from numerous regions. This event will coincide with our Mid-Week Treat of Free Hors d’oeuvres. We hope that you will attend this event and help us select the wines for your Club’s new wine list.

Join us in honoring our Tennis Pro-Am participants at this exciting evening of International Dining. This year’s Pro-Am includes tennis pros from numerous countries including Australia, Brazil, Britain, India, Spain, and South Africa. Chef Bob and his staff will take you on a culinary tour across the globe as you visit food stations honoring the cuisine of each country. Get your passport stamped at each station and qualify to win some great prizes. Some of the specialties featured this evening include Australian Meat Pie, Mini Beef Wellington, Samosas, Rawanda Chicken, Brazilian Vegetable Feijoda, and South African Banana Cake. For those who are less adventurous, we will also have a USA food station. The evening will include DJ and live music and a Beer and Wine Bar. For members not participating as players or sponsors of the Pro-Am, the cost of the event is $40++. That covers your dinner, beer and wine from 7 pm to 10:30 pm, music, and a great party. Spirits will be available by member charge. Call the Clubhouse for reservations.

For your convenience, the Grille Room will also be open until 8 pm and the regular Grille menu items will be available.

On Friday October 13^th the Club will not be offering our regular A la Carte Dinner. Instead, we invite you to join us for member dining in combination with our Tennis Pro-Am events.

Family Grill Out

On Friday night from 5 pm to 7 pm there will be a Family Grill Out at the Tennis Center featuring delicious burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and all the accompaniments. The cost for members who are not participating as players or sponsors of the Pro-Am is $10++ for Adults and $6++ for children. There will be a free children’s tennis clinic given by the Pros from 5 to 6 pm. Tell the kids to bring a racket. We encourage all members to come out and enjoy the cookout, meet the Pros, and watch some great tennis!

For your convenience, we will also extend the Grille Room hours until 8 pm and the regular Grille menu items will be available.

Break out your Lederhosen and Bavarian Hats and celebrate Oktoberfest with us. Our Thursday Family Buffet goes to Deutschland with authentic Bavarian specialties prepared by Chef Bob and his culinary staff. Complete the experience with our Bier Tasting, you will enjoy sampling of five unique biers from Germany paired especially to compliment particular foods on the buffet. Enjoy Oompa, Polka, and Waltz Music while you dine; and before the night is done, join your friends and neighbors for the traditional “Chicken Dance”.

The Buffet Menu will include traditional favorites like Sauerbraten, Weiner Schnitzel, German Chicken with Potatoes and Sauerkraut, German Meatloaf, Potato Dumplings, Spaetzle, German Style Green Beans, and of course Apple Strudel and German Chocolate Cake. The cost of the Dinner Buffet is $12.00 for adults and $7.00 for children. The Bier Tasting includes a 5 to 6 oz sampling of five brews including Harpoon Oktoberfest, Pinkus Organic Hefe-weizen, Warsteiner Premium Verum, Ayinger Celebrator Bavarian Double Bock, and the hugely popular Cottonwood Pumpkin Ale which is brewed in Mooresville, North Carolina. These exceptional brews have won accolades at the World Beer Cup, the Helsinki Beer Fest, and the Great American Beer Festival. At a cost of $12 extra, the Bier Tasting is optional, but you won’t want to miss it!
